Career Thinking and Planning for Arts and Humanities PGRs
Course Description:
Arts and Humanities PGRs are faced with several career challenges. One is the range of possibilities open to them along with often precarious and competitive opportunities. Although data shows that they are highly employable, Arts and Humanities PGRs often struggle with these two issues.
In this workshop, led by Donald Lush, a specialist researcher careers consultant at King’s College London, we’ll look at the range of options open to you, how to develop a career vision and how to analyse and articulate your knowledge, attributes, and experience. We’ll also look at how you can job hunt and prepare persuasive job applications with reference to the kinds of careers of especial interest to Arts and Humanities scholars.
