Cohort Development Event at Soane’s Museum – 12th February 2019

The cohort development event took place at Sir John Soane’s Museum in Lincoln’s Inn Fields on 12th February 6-9pm.

The event started with a drinks reception and included talks from Dr Simona Valeriani (Head of Early Modern Studies at the V&A/RCA History of Design programme) and from the staff at the museum who gave an insight into the fascinating history of this extraordinary museum, which was the home of Sir John Soane, architect and collector, and remains as it was at his death in 1837.

As availability for the tour of the private apartments, which were being restored and were not yet open to the general public, was limited to 8 people per tour, Helen Dorey (Deputy Director of the Soane’s Museum) had kindly agreed to give an introductory talk to all to provide an insight into the restoration project.
