Collaborations & Partnerships

LAHP works with a range of partners at different levels to deliver our doctoral training provision. We have five core partners that form part of our Governing Council and help us deliver on our vision and strategic aims. These core partners are:

We also work with a diverse range of cultural heritage, arts and industry partners from grassroots organisations through to national institutions and central government departments. These partners work with us in a range of ways including supporting our Collaborative Doctoral Awards, and also through the provision of placement and training opportunities for our students. To give a flavour of a placement collaboration, take a look at our promotional videos.

We are always looking to develop new partnerships with organisations that might benefit from collaborating with us, so if you are a non-HEI organisation wanting to find out more, please contact lahp.partners@london.ac.uk

The National Archives has been a core partner in LAHP since 2019. LAHP’s values align closely with our own goals for delivering innovative doctoral training, and working with LAHP helps to strengthen our strategic commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion as outlined in our strategy Archives for Everyone. Being directly involved in the governance of LAHP has developed our understanding of issues affecting students and has helped shape how we work with students across our academic programmes. Our placement students have offered new perspectives and contributed to our research in meaningful ways, helping to drive innovation in the ways we work.”
