LAHP Student-, Staff- and Alumni-led Activities Fund
Please note that the Student-led and alumni-led activities fund has now been merged with the Staff-led activities fund. The guidance and application form has been updated in December 2024, please read through both before applying.
Funding details
LAHP-funded students, staff at LAHP consortium partners and LAHP alumni can apply for a maximum of £3,000 from this fund. The proposed activity must be organised primarily for the benefit of, and must be accessible to most of the current LAHP students.
The principal aim of the LAHP Student-led Activities Fund is to fund activities to enhance the research culture across the consortium by:
- Funding activities that benefit LAHP students but are open to all students in partner HEIs
- Enhancing existing provision or developing new activities to benefit students across the consortium
- Funding activities to enhance, and make the most of, the research environment in London.
- This fund can be used to support student-led conferences.
- For student-led activities, at least two current LAHP students must be must be involved in the proposal and organisation of the activity.
- For staff-led activities, at least one current LAHP student must be co-lead in the proposal and organisation of the activity.
- For alumni-led activities, at least one current LAHP student must be co-applicant for the fund and co-organiser of the activity.

How to apply
Application deadlines for 2024/25 are:
1st deadline: 5pm Monday, 20 January 2025
2nd deadline: 5pm Friday 2nd May 2025

Timelines
Applicants can expect a decision within one month of the deadline.
