The event includes:

– Authentic jazz dance workshop (open level for all)

– Music workshop on jazz dance rhythms (for jazz musicians)

– Presentation about Florence Mills by practical historian, Jreena Green

– Panel discussion with guest speakers, Myrna Hague and Annette Walker

– Live jazz and tap jam party where you can watch or join in and enjoy a Caribbean hot food buffet

This is a LAHP student-led activity for Black History Month UK organised by LAHP-RCSSD student Annette Walker, who is completing PhD research on choreographer, Buddy Bradley.
