LAHP open forum session – 20th March 2017

The London Arts & Humanities Partnership

warmly invites you to help us shape our future research themes

Discussion & Drinks

5.30 – 7.30pm, Monday 20 March 2017
The Sunley Pavilion, Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre

LAHP is now preparing to bid for the next round of AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership funding and we would like to involve students, supervisors and cultural partners in the process. In order to write the best possible bid, we would like to identify some strong research themes around which to develop a coherent annual programme of activities in future years. These could include developing a themed tranche of Collaborative Doctoral Awards (we aim to launch a pilot CDA scheme this Autumn), as well as research placements and short-term projects, public-facing events, and community engagement, but we are also interested in hearing from you about what kind of activities you would like to see LAHP organising on your behalves.

We have a beautiful venue and some excellent facilitators for this informal evening so that students, supervisors, colleagues and partners in the cultural sector can get together and share their thoughts about what the research priorities might be our London institutions over the next seven years.

Some of you will already be involved in collaborative activity across universities and cultural institutions, and some of you may never have thought about it, but I very much hope you can join us and help us shape a collaborative future.

As places are limited, please book your ticket by 17th March on Eventbrite.
