LAHP Textile Working Group–Seaweed Weaving Workshop with Jessie Von Curry

Come unwind with LAHP Textile Working Group for a hands-on Seaweed Weaving Workshop led by artist, designer, and researcher Jessie Von Curry, whose work Flourishing the Night is currently showing at the Kew Gardens Material World After Hours series of events.

Jessie will give a talk on her practice and also show us how to weave treated seaweed on miniature looms. No prior weaving nor seaweed knowledge is required, we welcome participants of all research backgrounds.
