What works ..

Why it works …

Sharing our experiences for more effective research outcomes to lessen the emotional load and ease the complexity of the process.

For the session to be most useful, please be ready to contribute and share experiences and strategies, and bring questions. This is not intended to be a top-down information sharing workshop.

The sessions will cover:

· The supervisor relationship

· Tutorial tactics

· Procrastination v thinking time

· Planning

By the end of the session, students will:

– Build foundations of what is needed/wanted in future sessions including setting up networks

– build a network of fellow ND PhD peers

– get any ‘help’ – specific or general – to activate access to needs assessments to unlock AT and IT resources to enhance access

– have the opportunity to discuss what works for students who process information in non-NT ways

– Reflect on barriers that obstruct learning access and how to circumnavigate them
