Frank O’Hara: Europe & Cosmopolitan Poetics

Figure in the Abstract Expressionist movement that defined American art after the Second World War. However, the fact that he traveled widely during his curatorial work for MoMA has received scant attention, and I hope to place O’Hara within alternative, vibrant artistic communities outside of the New York School.
