Call for Submissions – Question Journal, Issue 11: “Et Cetera”

Question Journal (ISSN: 2631-5446 Print; 2632-5454 Online) is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal sponsored by the South, West and Wales Doctoral Training Partnership (SWWDTP). The journal provides an international platform for PhD and MPhil researchers to publish original research and creative-critical work in the Arts and Humanities.

Issue 11 invites submissions on the theme “Et Cetera,” because there is always something more to say. This issue approaches et cetera as a conceptual and methodological provocation—attending to the unsaid, the marginal, the fragmentary, and the excess that exceeds formal articulation. We welcome contributions that interrogate processes of exclusion, compression, and deferral across disciplines, and that critically examine what remains peripheral within archives, narratives, identities, and epistemologies.

Submissions may engage with (but are not limited to) questions of more-than-human ecologies, decolonial and subaltern histories, fragmentation and incomplete archives, re-framings of identity, orality and narrative traditions, linguistic hierarchies, and material culture. Interdisciplinary, experimental, and cross-genre approaches are strongly encouraged.
