An Introduction to Podcasting for Researchers – Part 1
In this highly practical and interactive bespoke course, over two half days participants will gain the knowledge and hands-on skills required to set up, launch and run a podcast.
The first session will focus on how researchers can generate professional, engaging and impactful content with their research through the medium of podcasts. The second will give participants the practical skills to enact their ideas in a real-world setting including recording, editing, hosting and getting funding. In between the sessions trainees will be asked to create a podcast pitch to be submitted in the following session for feedback from experienced podcasters. It is hoped that students will use these templates to submit their podcast idea for LAHP’s Public Engagement Prize.
All sessions will be delivered online via Zoom with joining instructions sent 7 days prior to the first workshop.
