LAHP Supervisor Event – 22nd January 2020

The first annual LAHP Supervisor Event took place on Wednesday 22 January from 4-6pm in the Woburn Suite at Senate House.

The event provided information about new developments at LAHP, including:

  • the LAHP Research Extension and Placements Fund
  • the Impact, Engagement and Entrepreneurship Fund; 
  • other funding opportunities for students and staff;
  • the LAHP training programme2019/20 and beyond;
  • forthcoming LAHP events, including the LAHP Placement Event for students and non-HEI organizations (Monday 3 February, 5-7pm, at the V&A) and the LAHP Annual Research Day (Thursday 14 May, 12.30-6pm at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre).

There was also be time to discuss:

  • supervision across different disciplines and HEIs;
  • the LAHP training needs assessment;
  • the new LAHP Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy and action plan.

We also welcomed suggestions for other topics to address at this event.
