Research as Resistance – Module 2 – Understanding Epistemic Injustice

In this session, we will examine how systemic oppression impacts each of us, particularly how we make sense of the world. Using anti-oppressive, difference-centred paradigms, students can reflect on how knowledge is prioritised, accredited, and shared through the lens of systemic oppression. The session will also consider the practical impacts of conducting primary research with and reviewing secondary data about marginalised communities.
