Is it morally permissible for the state to enforce its commands?

The aim of the project is to explore how a negative answer to the title question might be defended, devoting particular attention to the objection to this answer that such a world is not feasible. This will be done in part through an exploration of the concept of feasibility in general and its role in moral and political philosophy.
