The Value Problem in Epistemology

I’m thinking about the value problem in epistemology. We value knowledge and value it far more than mere true belief, yet exactly why is a tricky question. Firstly, the instrumental value of the two are intuitively equal. And, secondly, explaining any necessary intrinsic value is fraught.
